Doctor Who is returning to movie theaters. Fathom Events is bringing the Doctor Who Season 10 premiere episode to theaters nationwide for a special two-night event on Monday, April 17 and Wednesday, April 19 at 7 p.m. local time.

In addition to the Doctor Who Season 10 premiere, the event will also show the premiere episode of the Doctor Who spinoff series Class, which features a special guest appearance by Peter Capaldi as the Doctor.
There’s also a never-before-seen special feature Becoming the Companion. The new feature offers fans an opportunity to get to know Pearl Mackie, who plays the Doctor’s new companion, Bill Potts, as she makes the transition from theater stage to TARDIS, which Mackie describes as, “the mist insane thing that’s ever happened to me.” The feature I narrated by Ingrid Oliver, and features interviews with Mackie, Capaldi, and showrunner Steven Moffat.

Tickets for the premiere can be purchased online at the Fathom Events website or at the box office of any of the more than 550 theaters carrying the event. A list of theaters is also available at the Fathom Events website.
Fans who bring their ticket stub from the event at Hot Topic will also receive 25 percent off of Doctor Who merchandise through May 6. Fans who purchase tickets through Atom Tickets will also receive three free Doctor Who digital comics from Titan Comics and Comixology.
Doctor Who Season 10 will see Peter Capaldi embark on his thrilling final series as the Twelfth Doctor as well as the introduction of brand new companion Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts and the return of alien companion Matt Lucas as Nardole. Fantastic adventures and terrifying monsters await the team of heroes as they journey through space and time in this latest installment of the globally-renowned drama. Expect laughter, danger, and exhilarating escapades in this final season under the helm of lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat.
Moffat will be handing the reins over to Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall for Doctor Who Season 11. Chibnall is a longtime Doctor Who fans who also wrote for the series during the Russell T. Davies era and Was head writer on the Doctor Who spinoff series Torchwood.
