The 300th episode will be titled “Dog Bites Bear” and will air on Sunday, January 14th. As for a synopsis, we learned that, “In the episode, Brian and Stewie get into a friendship-ending fight, while Peter finally meets his idol.”
In addition to the 300th episode, Family Guy has plans for an extended episode special coming on Sunday, March 11th. It’s called “Send in Stewie Please” and will (obviously) be a Stewie-centric episode. We’ll get a special guest star in the form of Sir Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, X-Men), and while it will be in its usual time slot (Sunday @ 9/8c), “Send in Stewie Please” will be presented with limited commercial interruption (a first for the series) in order to make the actual runtime of the episode longer.
Series creator Seth MacFarlane jumped into character as Stewie, in order to promote the upcoming extended episode, humorously stating, “I think Sir Ian learned a lot from working with me. And mark my words: he has a bright future in this business.”
Family Guy’s 300th episode airs on January 14th; the extended Stewie episode arrives on March 11th; both will air at @ 9/8c on Fox.
