Wednesday afternoon, Snuka, real name James Wiley Smith, was declared mentally unfit to stand trial. A new trial will occur six months from now to re-determine his mental compentency, but Snuka’s lawyers insisted though that his condition will only worsen.

Sarah Cassi, reporter from Lehigh Valley County tweeted out the official ruling after the four-day hearing.

ESPN is also reporting that Lehigh Valley Judge Kelly Banach does not think Snuka is feigning his incompetence and doesn’t see him as “smart enough” to fake his illness, calling Snuka “vacant” and “leadable”. Due of his charging, Snuka was removed from WWE’s Hall of Fame and it’s uncertain how this will fair out in the end. Snuka is already 73 years old and is in seemingly poor health, looking only get worse from here.
