Most fans recognize that the superstars of the WWE put their bodies on the line every night they step into the ring. It’s important to remember that even though they might not be on television anymore, former superstars are always dealing with the toll from all those bumps in the ring.

Fred Ottman, who most WWE fans will know as Tugboat, Typhoon (Natural Disasters), or The Shockmaster, is currently dealing with some serious health issues. His friend Luke Williams, one-half of the popular Bushwackers Tag Team, posted a request for thoughts and prayers for Ottman and revealed that he has already been in the hospital for 15 days (via SquaredCircle).
“Matey’s Big Fred, Tugboat has been in the hospital for 15 plus days and not doing well. He needs all the prayers from you guys so he can be out and about shaking hands and kissing kids. As you know he’s a great guy and a good friend of mine. Pray matey’s and God Bless Fred. — with Fred Ottman.”
Our thoughts go out to Ottman and his family and friends, and we hope he makes a speedy recovery.
