Last month, SmackDown! color commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler was suspended from the WWE with domestic abuse allegations involving his fiance and what seemed to be some sort of altercation with an unloaded gun.

He was replaced by David Otunga as part of the three-man announce team on WWE's blue brand, and WWE has made no mention of Lawler's absence on television except for mentioning his arrest and suspension on their website.

According to the affidavit, Lawler said they argued over McBride lying about where she had been. He said she was intoxicated and tried to prevent her from leaving in her car. She then scratched the right side of his face, threw a candle at him and kicked him the groin. Lawler alleged that she got the gun from the garage and threatened to kill herself.

It was reported Friday by the WWE that the Hall of Famer and Memphis wrestling legend's suspension has been lifted as his legal matters has been settled. Lawler's attorney Ted Hansom said it was "a big misunderstanding and won't happen again. We are happy with the outcome."

It's unclear if he will return to the SmackDown! booth or not just yet.
