WWE’s Total Divas has experienced its share of highs and lows, including lower ratings over the course of its run. Former WWE superstar and current Impact superstar Alberto Del Rio thinks he knows why, and it comes down to his fiance Paige.

Del Rio has been engaging a lot lately on social media and recently posted “A birdy told me ratings were dropping from a certain reality show. Keep deleting my babies scenes. Keep up the good work. @RealPaigeWWE” (via IWNerd). Now Paige has been present in the show this season, including some pieces about her suspension. WWE likes to put that in their trailers and teases, but Paige hasn’t been as big a part of the show as she was last season. That is one of the more interesting aspects of the show, so it is odd that WWE wouldn’t use it as much as possible.
While Paige is still under contract with WWE, recent rumors have indicated that even when she is cleared for competition by her doctors (she recently had neck surgery), WWE has no plans in place for her. Granted, that could change, and but right now it’s unknown if she’ll ever wrestle for WWE again after she’s cleared.
Del Rio wasn’t done though, saying “Yes say hi to the bad guy haha, Yes MARKS im trying to ruin her hahaha…😂😂😂😂😂now be marks and talk about my tweet hahaha.” He ended his flurry with a picture of the two toasting with the caption “And now mama let’s toast to that last tweet…. and you marks… just talk about it hahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂.”
