Sasha Banks is currently in the midst of a brutal feud with Nia Jax, which has the potential to be quite excellent. After Nia, however, the pickings look a bit slim, and it doesn’t seem that Banks will be back in the title picture anytime soon if she stays on the flagship brand.

Banks lost the RAW Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair at the recent Roadblock pay-per-view, and after several months of back and forth, it appears that feud is done for the foreseeable future. Bayley has now been inserted into a feud with Charlotte, leaving Banks with no real way to get back into the title hunt unless she turns heel. That might be the ultimate plan, but a trade to Smackdown could instantly place her back in the championship hunt, and she seems to like the idea.
Twitter user @_Lamb_Wolf_ posted a picture of Banks holding her championship belt and said “@SashaBanksWWE soon Lil Boss Jr will come back home.” First, calling the belt Lil Boss Jr is awesome in itself, and she should totally roll with the name in the future. Secondly, Banks replied to his tweet with wink that said: “I hope it’s blue”.

Getting Banks on the blue brand would give her plenty of new feuds for 2017, including potential clashes with Nikki Bella, Natalya, Mickie James, Alexa Bliss, and Becky Lynch, and all of those would be more interesting than what RAW has to offer at the moment. It will be interesting to see if she makes her way to Smackdown Live, and who gets traded to RAW in the process if this leads to anything of course.
