WWE: Is Stephen Amell Appearing At WrestleMania 33?

This weekend marks the biggest event of the year for WWE, the event that makes and breaks superstars called WrestleMania. WrestleMania 33 takes place in Orlando, Florida this year, and a recent social media post from an alumni indicates he might be taking part.

That happens to be Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen on the CW’s Arrow. WWE fans will know him more though for his entertaining program with Cody Rhodes, who was occupying his Stardust character at the time. The two had various confrontations at ringside and at Comic-Cons and even had a big match at SummerSlam. Amell seems to be heading to Orlando to catch the big show, tweeting “What’s the weather supposed to be like in Orlando this weekend? #WrestleMania”.

Now, he’s a professed fan of WWE, so this could just be him flying in for the show. Still, Amell likes to have fun with fans on his social media, so he very well could be teasing something for WrestleMania. If he does show up though, he would have to find a different sparring partner, as Rhodes left WWE awhile back, leaving the Stardust character far behind. It would help WrestleMania’s celebrity factor if he did attend, as the earlier proposed Shaq vs Big Show match ended up falling through.
