Savage is a two-time WWE Champion as well as a former Intercontintal Champion, but it was his charisma, gravely voice, and over-the-top theatrics that thrusted him into the national spotlight. Savage transcended wrestling by being the spokesman for Slim Jim and even portrayed Bonesaw McGraw in Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man feature film.

He passed away five years ago after suffering from a heart attack while driving his Jeep in Seminole, Florida. He will always be remembered for his crazy interviews and his atomic elbow drop, but also as a brother and loving husband.
