The miniseries The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite was a huge hit for Dark Horse Comics.  Gerard Way, who wrote the series, received an Eisner for Best Limited Series, and a Harvey for Best New Series for his work. The artist on the series was multiple-Eisner winner Gabriel Bá.

The Umbrella Academy is set in a world that defies the space-time continuum.  It is a world that includes a dysfunctional family of super-powered siblings that fight animated monuments, talking chimpanzees, a secret society of robot assassins, and each other.

Shocker Toys is producing 6” action figures and Shockinis of some of the contestants from the Sci-Fi Network’s Who Wants To Be A Superhero?   Feedback, the winner of the first season of Who Wants To Be A Superhero?, and The Defuser, the winner of the second season of Who Wants To Be A Superhero will both be featured as 6” action figures.

Comicbook.com has obtained and posted a test shot image of the Feedback figure.  In addition to the winner, the final three runner ups from last year and this year will be made into Shockinis.  Shockinis are modular, mini action figures that scale in at around 3” high. 

Shocker Toys will also be making two packs called Shockini Indie that will spotlight comic book heroes.  Shockinis two packes will include Dick Tracy & Madman, Katchoo & The Maxx, Scud & Shadow Hawk, and Kabuki & Solar.  For more on Shocker Toys, check out their website at www.shockertoys.com.
