Alice Eve, best known for playing Molly in She's Out of My League (2010) and Carol Marcus in Star Trek: Into Darkness (2013), stars in Before We Go opposite Chris Evans, who also directed, and while promoting the film she was asked if she had interest in playing a Marvel character.
"You know I’m a huge fan of the Marvel movies," the 33-year-old English actress told Film Fad. "They obviously are hugely important in our society right now and the ability to kind of innovate cinema has been amazing. I think everyone into them should be grateful for them for reviving such an interest in it. It’s like a cult following on a massive scale now with these movies. So yeah, I’m a huge fan of theirs and I think Kevin [Feige] is an incredibly talented man who has turned this thing around. So, yeah if the thing was right, I’d love to talk to them."
Eve is of course no stranger to comic book movies. She played a young Agent O in Men in Black 3 (2012). She was reportedly set to play Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class (2011), but dropped out and the role eventually went to Mad Men star January Jones. She was also on the short list to play Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger, however, she lost out to Hayley Atwell.
