Just yesterday, rumors started to circulate after concerning who would be composing the score for Marvel's upcoming solo film Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Today, Michael Giacchino, who just scored the magnificent movie, Doctor Strange, confirmed on twitter that he will be also be scoring Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Giacchino, who has a long history with Disney, is coming off of rather successful scores for Star Trek Beyond, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Marvel's most recent release Doctor Strange.

The announcement was made at a Spider-Man: Homecoming Q&A with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson (via MCUexchange), but has now been confirmed by Giacchino himself.

After Doctor Strange sort of upped the expectations for future superhero films, Marvel is not taking any chances with thier properties and seems to be assembling the best creative teams possible.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios' Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
