Ant-Man and The Wasp is coming together!
The sequel to 2015's Ant-Man will arrive in 2018 with many of the original stars set to return. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily will play the the titular heroes and, now, T.I. has revealed he will be reprising his role as DAve for the sequel.
According to BlackFilm, the rapper turned actor made an appearance to support the cast of The Carmichael Show, where he was asked if he would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the report claims, T.I. nodded affirmatively, indicating a confirmation of his return.

Also returning to for Ant-Man and The Wasp are Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, and David Dastmalchian. Peyton Reed will follow up his efforts on the original and return to direct.
"I just thought it was an awesome opportunity," T.I. told ComicBook.com about taking on the role. "To be in the Marvel Universe is just awesome. It was a no-brainer for me. Initially, when you think about, a $250 million project that you're invited to join onto, you immediately assume that it's going to be very tense and rigid and there's not a lot of fun involved and the people would be difficult to deal with but it was nothing like that at all. You know, it really felt more boutique, independent, kind of. It was just a strong sense of comradery on set and I really appreciate that."
"To be honest with you, I always saw the natural progression for me to be doing more acting," T.I. said. "It was just I never could find the time because of how much business and opportunity was there in music. It was almost like a gift and a curse because when the music thing slowed up - don't get me wrong, you can still make a fantastic living doing music - it's just the places you have to go and the things that are still paying that kind of money are a lot less flattering."

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to release in theaters on July 6, 2018.
