The DC Comics hero’s first feature film has been a hit with critics and fans, and even “rivals” across the franchise lines are cheering on the film’s success.

Yahoo News anchor Katie Couric recently interviewed star Gal Gadot about the movie. The actor took a moment to address a question she says she’s received and turned to the camera to ask Thor star Chris Hemsworth the kind of query that fans debate in comic book shops.

“They ask me who would win, Wonder Woman or Thor,” Gadot said. “And I think it’s Wonder Woman. Don’t you Chris?”

The Thor: Ragnarok star offered a surprising answer.

Such a battle is unlikely to ever be depicted on the screen, reserved for special collaborations between Marvel and DC Comics such as Avengers/JLA. But we can only imagine how awesome it would be to see the two team up after coming to blowsโ€”as is tradition for superheroes.

The two characters have a lot in common including their super strength, godhood, and mystical weapons. Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins was even tapped to helm Thor: The Dark World before ultimately leaving the project. But a God of Thunder understands when they’re beat.

Hemsworth knows not to mess with the Princess of Themyscira.

Wonder Woman is in theaters now.
