The marketing train for Thor: Ragnarok officially left the station when the first trailer blew the minds of fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this spring.
Now, a new look at the titular hero is giving fans another reason to be excited. Concept art of the Asgardian hero shows off the new look fans will encounter when Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters, complete with a new haircut, weapons, and top to bottom costume. It is consistent with the look unveiled in the Ragnarok trailer which saw the hero tossed into a gladiator ring with the Hulk.

"Closeup of top part of the cover illustration I did for QAGOMA Marvel Creating the Cinematic Universe book," Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park wrote in the tweet.
The look appears to be inspired for the Thor: God of Thunder run which was printed by Marvel Comics with their Marvel Now! re-launch event. On that cover, Thor donned a sleeveless appearance with two swords as his weapons. As fans saw in the first Ragnarok trailer, Mjolnir is destroyed by Hela in Ragnarok, prompting the God of Thunder to pick up alternate weapons.
