The Avengers: Infinity War footage released at San Diego Comic-Con was insanely epic, and one of the only minds on the planet that can properly translate it is Erik Selvig.
Well, okay, not just Erik Selvig, but nervous breakdown Erik Selvig from Thor: The Dark World. Mr. Master Blaster created the fantastic clip you see below, which has the eccentric doctor explaining the footage revealed at Comic-Con in the best way, random chalkboard and shoes included.
Erik Selvig Describes the Avengers Infinity War Trailer
"So you have the Avengers, and they're gonna be fighting a guy called Thanos. and Thanos is this big purple man who comes down in this big, round ship, and out of a portal and he's got this big metal glove on his hand, you should've seen the look on their faces, it was priceless."
The shoes as "Thanos" is fantastic, but he seems to revel in the destruction Thaos causes.
"So he raises his fist in the air, and off in the distance a moon or planet of some sort and it comes crashing...down...down...down as the Avengers look on in terror. And then it cuts to the title screen. Great stuff."
In true Ronco fashion, Selvig offers up a "But wait there's more!"
Selvig then runs through all of the spliced in details, starting with that oh so present Captain America beard.
"Cap has a beard now, Thor gets his head crushed, Gamora's crying, Black Dwarf or whatever stupid name he goes by now, Iron Spider, Loki gives Thanos the Tesseract, Black Widow's blonde. Whew lad"
Somehow he might have sold the footage even better than Marvel did!
