New ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Promo Gives First Look At New Team Member

We finally have our first look at the newest face to join the Legends of Tomorrow!

The newest promo for the hit The CW series gives fans a first look at Zari Adrianna (Tala Ashe), who is set to join the team in Season 3. You can check out the promo below.

Zari has been described as a hactivist from the future, who seems to have ties to magic. The character has longstanding roots in DC Comics lore, serving as a member of the Shazam family. And judging by that promo, she might not instantly get along with her new team members.

“She’s living in a time that’s so bleak and so terrible,” Ashe revealed during the show’s TCA panel, “that she challenges them to think, ‘Is there a way to be Legends and to be humanitarians about it?’ I think there’s going to be some tension there.”

Fans will have to see how that tension unfolds when Legends of Tomorrow returns to Tuesday nights at 9 p.m., following new episodes of The Flash, in October.

Once reunited, the Legends will challenge the Time Bureau’s authority over the timeline and insist that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.
