The single-player content that’s been explained previously consists of three different parts: Challenges, Offline Bots, and Virtual Cabin 2.0. It seems that the Virtual Cabin 2.0 feature is the first of these three to be released with an announcement on the game’s subreddit confirming that it’s coming in the next update.
“Virtual Cabin 2.0 is coming in the next update to Friday the 13th: The Game!” said Daniel “ShiftySamurai” Nixon, community manager for Gun Media.
Nixon expanded on what all the Virtual Cabin 2.0 would entail for those who picked up on Friday the 13th: The Game later and aren’t familiar with the feature.
“The new Virtual Cabin is an expansion and complete overhaul of the original that we launched prior to release of the full game on PC. For those unfamiliar; the Virtual Cabin is a combination museum to Friday the 13th: The Game, and an interactive dev diary! 2.0 is far larger in scope, not only with information and accessibility, but it includes far more than meets the eye if you start to explore.”

Inside the new Virtual Cabin that improves on the first version, there’s tons of content from the iconic movies hidden within the cabin. It’ll apparently take a while to find everything that the new Virtual Cabin has to offer while players solve puzzles in order to unearth all the secrets tucked away in the cabin.
As far as when the Virtual Cabin 2.0 feature will actually be available for players to explore, no release date was provided. It was said elsewhere in a comment that the content would be coming “soon” but how soon that’ll be remains to be seen. New screenshots for the feature were also posted to give a preview of the cabin before it’s released.
In the meantime, the patch notes for the game’s next update can be seen here. The notes don’t include every single change that’s coming in the next patch, but they do address many balance changes and bugfixes.
