Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Debuts First Footage

Naruto fans, it is time to test out your Hype no Jutsu! The beloved shonen franchise is heading into a new era, and TV Tokyo is ready to introduce fans to Konoha’s next generation of ninjas. Next month, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will make its debut as Naruto Shippuden finally comes to an end. After more than a decade on air, the long-running show will bid farewell to heroes like Naruto Uzumaki and more – but the legends won’t stay down for long!

On April 5, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will become the third anime of Masashi Kishimoto’s franchise. The series will bring the son of Naruto and Hinata Hyuga to the forefront as he leads his own series. Fans will follow the hot-headed ninja as he enters the ninja academy and learns about the heroic deeds of her elders. Along the way, Boruto will team up with the children of his parents’ powerful comrades, and the boy will learn just how difficult it is to be the son of a Hokage.

Thanks to TV Tokyo, fans can now get their first look at Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. A trailer for the anime was just released on the network’s official Youtube account. The footage shows Boruto running towards the Academy before he hitches a ride with Shikamaru’s son on top of a train. The trailer also gives fans a look at Boruto’s younger sister and his mother. And, when Naruto is then shown working as the eighth Hokage, fans can clearly see where Boruto got his looks from.
