The Merc With a Mouth has hit it big in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Deadpool And Wolverine routinely thought of by critics and audiences alike as one of the best cinematic entries of the long-running franchise. With Ryan Reynolds potentially returning to join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Doomsday, Wade Wilson might have some major challenges ahead of him after his team-up with the X-Men’s shortest member. Recently, one cosplayer has decided to merge two universes into one, imagining Deadpool if he upped his training to the point that he became a Super Saiyan God of Dragon Ball Super fame.

For those who might need a refresher or an introduction to the transformation known as Super Saiyan God, it first reared its head in the anime film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Acting as the bridge between the end of Dragon Ball Z and the beginning of Dragon Ball Super, the movie saw the arrival of the God of Destruction known as Beerus and witnessed Son Goku unable to stop the feline destroyer. In learning of the Super Saiyan God transformation, Goku received the power-up thanks to Gohan, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, and Videl lending him their hands to access the form. While Goku as a Super Saiyan God wasn’t enough to defeat Beerus, it opened the door for far more transformations that the Saiyan could access in the shonen’s future.
Deadpool Goes Even Further Beyond
Not only does the Merc With a Mouth attain the power of the Saiyans in this new cosplay, Wade is also shown sporting the Infinity Gauntlet. The legendary glove has long been a part of the Marvel comics, but it became a part of cinematic history when Thanos used the gauntlet to fight the Avengers and wipe half of the universe’s population off the map. While Wade has never used the gauntlet in the main comic book continuity, a recent spin-off series did see Deadpool gaining some wild new tricks.
Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe One Last Time witnessed Wade Wilson bouncing around Marvel’s different realities to eliminate all the heroes and villains he could find. While not gaining the Infinity Gauntlet, Wade found himself gaining the powers of the Hulk, along with various other trinkets to help him in his horrifying campaign. Written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Dalibor Talajic, this latest series was part of a run that saw Wade unleashed on friends and enemies alike.
As for whether Deadpool will cross over with the Z-Fighters, this possibility might not be that far-fetched. In Deadpool: Samurai, the manga series starring the Merc With a Mouth, Wade teams up with My Hero Academia’s All Might to fight against Thanos. While the series has yet to be adapted into an anime, the popularity of the masked Marvel character might mean we’ll one day see this wild crossover hit the small screen.
