Congratulations are in order for a couple over on Dragon Ball Super. Fans may not have been expecting the sudden announcement, but it looks like Bulma is expecting! The feisty character is set to welcome a new child to the new Dragon Ball anime, and Vegeta is apparently more than a little freaked out. The birth is slated to be covered in a coming episode of Dragon Ball Super, and its synopsis describes the princely Saiyan as a panicked wreck.

The most recent issue of Weekly Shonen Jump had lots of Dragon Ball Super goodies for fans to look over, and it treated them to synopses. The description from episode 77 has been gaining attention given its surprising storyline, and fans are curious to see how the filler will affect the anime moving forward.
You can check out the translated synopsis for Dragon Ball Super‘s 77th episode below thanks to Todd Blankenship:
“When Goku goes to Bulma’s house to train with Whis, he finds her belly has gotten big, and he learns she is pregnant with her second child. What’s more, she’ll be giving birth soon, and Vegeta is so nervous he can’t calm down!”
Of course, fans of the Dragon Ball franchise will know who this second child is. Bulma and Vegeta will give birth to Bulla, a precocious hybrid Saiyan who is the spitting image of her mother. The character was introduced in Dragon Ball Z and reappeared throughout Dragon Ball GT. Her personality may make Bulla like her father, and the two are quite close. Bulla is also close friends with Pan and Marron, the daughters of Gohan/Videl and Krillin/Android 18.
In February, a brand-new story arc of Dragon Ball Super is set to kick off in Japan with the ‘Universal Survival’ saga. You can check out the brief synopsis for it below:
“At Goku’s request, the Omni-Kings’ “Tournament of Power” martial arts tournament between universes now begins! โฆBut this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquishedโฆ?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn outโฆ?!”
