It has been over three months since Dragon Ball Super entered its new story arc, but things are still moving at a slow pace. Goku and a few fighters from Universe 7 had the chance to test their skills in a multiverse exhibition match, but fans were left wanting after the tease wrapped. Now, the famous Saiyan is back on Earth working to recruit powerful warriors to fight for Universe 7 in the Omni-King's lethal tournament. At this point, some fans are starting to wonder whether Goku will ever finish his current mini-arc and get onto the tournament.
Just, don't expect that dream to come true anytime soon. The provision titles for Dragon Ball Super future episodes have dropped, and they don't bring fans any close to the Tournament of Power.
Thanks to fan-translator Todd Blankenship, fans have learned the titles for episodes 90-92. You can read up on their working titles here:
- "Overcoming the Wall! Goku x Gohan"
"The Mightiest Warriors Assemble"
"All the Members Aren't Here?"
From this batch, episode 90 stands out the most given its promised match-up. Goku and Gohan will go head-to-head in a fight as they assess each other's power ahead of the tournament. The following episode will then see the entire Universe 7 team come together, but episode 92 will dampen that hype. The third episode hints that a member of Universe 7's team will be late to their entrance, and fans have their money on the culprit being Mr. Buu or Vegeta. The former does tend to work on his own schedule, and Vegeta has a newborn daughter to look after. It would make sense for either of the fighters to be running behind.
Let's just hope Yamcha doesn't try and fill the spot in the meantime...
Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
