Sailor Moon is essentially the Wonder Woman of anime. They are both iconic heroine with super powers and strength as well as stunning beauty. But this isn’t the only thing the two have in common, as Sailor Moon’s voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi is featured on the new Wonder Woman trailer. Mitsuishi, who has been the voice actress for the magical beauty Sailor Moon for the last 25 years, is heard as the narrator for the new trailer. Considering the similarities between the two legendary characters, she is a perfect fit for the role.

The film is set to open in America on June 2nd and will be shortly is set to open in Japan on August 25th.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot, Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine, crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. The film stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Ewen Bremmer, Doutzen Kroes, Samantha Jo (Euboea), Florence Kasumba (Senator Acantha), Said Taghmaoui, Eleanor Matsuura (Epione), Emily Carey (Young Diana), and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe).
