Jujutsu Kaisen is all set for its highly anticipated return with Season 3 in Winter 2026 and a new reveal has turned the hype up. The story has taken a major turn in the Shibuya Incident Arc, and the Jujutsu world can never return to what it used to be. While the young sorcerers are putting everything on the line to save the country, the higher-ups have determined Satoru Gojo and Yuji Itadori to be their biggest enemies. Yuta Okkotsu’s arrival is sure to shake things up, as he appears to be Yuji’s enemy. The trailer also features the intense fight between two beloved students of Satoru Gojo. Meanwhile, as the chaos continues to worsen, Gojo himself is nowhere to be found, having been trapped in the Prison Realm, but we now have a reminder of his return.

Intriguingly, Jujutsu Kaisen is holding an Animation Exhibition in December this year, and to promote the event, the franchise released a number of merchandise items featuring our beloved character, including Satoru Gojo. The official website of the exhibition unveiled the latest range of merchandise, featuring original illustrations of the characters while staying true to the canon source. Surprisingly, one of those visuals is very similar to Gojo’s look when he first came out of the Prison Realm and challenged Kenjaku, the one occupying Suguru Geto’s corpse and using it for evil. Here’s the new look:

New Jujutsu Kaisen Visual Hypes Gojo’s Battle Against the Main Villains
Gojo was, of course, trapped inside the Prison Realm before the main fight in Shibuya Ward even began. Gojo’s disappearance prompted the sorcerers, who were on standby, to take action, resulting in a bloodbath. The incident only ended after countless casualties, but the students had no time to mourn, as they must put a stop to Kenjaku’s plans and find a way to free Gojo. When he does return, the story will head in a direction no one could have anticipated.
Now, Gojo’s return in the show won’t happen for a while, but when it does, it’s going to be one of the most hype moments in the series ever. His return also marks the beginning of the Final Arc, the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, as Gojo accepts Ryomen Sukuna’s challenge. The story quickly commences one of the best fights in modern shonen that had the community in a chokehold for months. The fight also marks the final phase in the show, when Jujutsu Kaisen ended its serialization at the peak of its popularity.
Although it’s been a while since the manga featured his return, this is the first time we are seeing this look in an anime version, and that too, the official version. It’s one of his most famous outfits in the show, and the reason it’s been revealed ahead of time could have something to do with the upcoming Season 3. The Culling Game Arc ends at this very moment, so all the more reason why this look grabbed everyone’s attention. It’s the second final and the largest arc in the series, so it’s unclear how many episodes Season 3 will have, or if it will run in two parts to have stable pacing.
