Let’s face it: finding a good live-action take on an anime is hard to come by. Sure, there are praised features like Rurouni Kenshin which buck the trend, but it seems impossible to give the medium is fair due in real-life.

From Dragon Ball Evolution to Guyver, there are a handful of Hollywood adaptations that have flopped hard. However, the industry is not the only one guilty of making shoddy live-action anime flicks.

Over on Goo Rankings, the Japanese website wanted to see how fans really felt about the array of foreign live-action anime films. Thousands of people responded to the call, and the poll’s results my surprise you!
