You can say whatever you want about the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, but don't try to tell fans its creator is not a talented artist. Kazuki Takahashi is the progenitor of all things Duel Monsters, and fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series have come to look up to the laid-back artist. Given the creator's involvement with Yu-Gi-Oh!, fans often get sneak-peek treats from Takahashi when it comes to future projects, but the artist is also known to give a few good throwbacks. And, over on Instagram, Takahashi posted some really stunning 3D artwork which pays homage to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.

Taking to social media, the artist shared a short clip with fans on Instagram which fully detailed his beautiful 3D artwork. The pastel image sees Yugi, Joey, and Seto as the trio stand in a gentle spring landscape.

"Springly cherry blossom theme! A year from the movie! It [went by so] fast! 😊 Thank you!" Takahashi captioned the clip. Of course, the artist is talking about Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions, the latest film to be released from the franchise. The movie originally had its debut in Japan last April, and the movie finally made it to the U.S. earlier this year.

If you missed the U.S. screening of the movie, then don't fret! Eleven Arts recently announced it would bring back The Dark Side Of Dimensions to theaters starting on April 14th.

You can read up on the movie's synopsis below:

"In Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS, the stakes have never been higher; the rivalries never as fierce; the risks never so great. One wrong move—one card short—and it's game over for good. A decade in the making, Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS features new designs and an all-new story from the original creator of the global phenomenon, Kazuki Takahashi. His masterful tale features anime's most beloved characters in their long-awaited return: Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba and their faithful friends Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, Téa Gardner and Bakura. It's the most highly anticipated re-YU-nion ever!"
