Clooney has previously starred for the Coens in Intolerable Cruelty, O Brother Where Art Thou? and Burn After Reading. Brolin starred in their No Country For Old Men and True Grit.
Brolin, who also starred in the DC Comics adaptation Jonah Hex (although he’d like to you forget that, if it’s all the same to you), can next be seen in Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, in which he will replace Clive Owen as Dwight.
