Apparently, Amber Heard knows what people say about men with big feet. It must mean they are packing some real big flippers. After fans get their minds out of the gutter, they will understand just how Heard came upon the revelation. And, yes - the lesson all came thanks to Jason Momoa.
Over on Instagram, fans have had a nice laugh at the Aquaman pair thanks to a new behind-the-scenes photo from Heard. Taking to social media, the actress shared a picture of her training for Aquaman, but there is something clutched in her hand. “Check out Jason’s boot,” she wrote. “Aquaman’s gonna need some big flippers.”
In the photo, Heard can be seen sweating under some overhead lights, but her toned body shows the fruits of her labor. The star’s hair is tucked into braids, and she looks more than ready for another set of exercises. That is, if Momoa’s massive boot weren’t weighing her down.
This behind-the-scenes image of Heard preparing for Aquaman is a far cry from how fans recently saw the actress. Last week, director James Wan shared a picture of Heard dressed in character as Mera. The seabound heroine was shown surfacing to dry land as she walked down an empty dock. With her red hair soaked, Mera could show off her new, skintight costume which contrasts greatly from her armored look in Justice League.
Filming kicked off on Aquaman earlier this month, and fans have already been given plenty of sneak-peeks at the feature. With a crew like Heard and Momoa, it seems like the film’s set is as lively as any other, and fans are glad to see the stars getting along so well.
However, it does look like Momoa will be needing some massive flippers. It is true that Aquaman doesn’t have any merman’s tail to help him underwater; Maybe Momoa’s plus-sized boots are supposed to help keep Arthur Curry and his Michael Phelps feet secret from his Earth dwelling neighbors?
An icon for over 75 years, Aquaman is known by fans of DC Comics as the ruler of Atlantis but committed to protecting the entire globe, both land and sea.
Warner Bros.’ action adventure Aquaman, is being helmed by James Wan (The Conjuring films, Furious 7) and stars Jason Momoa in the title role, returning to the character he plays in this fall’s Justice League.
