Batman v Superman Concept Art Featuring Mech Batsuit

Professional concept artist Jerad S. Marantz (X-Men: Apocalypse, Captain America: Civil War) has updated his official website with a trio of designs for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that solely focus on The Dark Knight's Mech Batsuit.

In order to go toe-to-toe with the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill), Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) wore an armored Batsuit — inspired by the power-suit Batman wore in Frank Miller's 1986 four-issue comic book mini-series, The Dark Knight Returns — and used grenades that discharged smoke laced with kryptonite. The suit featured luminescent lenses to conceal/protect his eyes and added more power to his punches, allowing him to hit Superman with 1,420 pounds of force.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
