There's a reason the Lantern rings only channel one emotional spectrum, and fans are seeing what happens when one has access to all of them at the same time in DC and BOOM's Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern series.
Issue #2 of the unique crossover hits stores next Wednesday, where Hal Jordan will find himself in a world he's never encountered. That's saying something when you're essentially the cosmic police, and one of your members is an actual planet, but nonetheless he is in for a rude wake-up call. Oh, not to mention his ring isn't working, so there's that too.
It doesn't help things that one ape in particular has a power ring that he can't control, and is switching between spectrums as quickly as the mood will carry him. That doesn't exactly bode well for the rest of the populace. You can view a preview of the issue in the gallery, and if you need a refresher you can view ComicBook.com's review of issue #1.
