The episode is noteworthy for two particular reasons. First and foremost is the much-anticipated debut of Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo on the show, after official reports earlier today as to the official names of their characters.

Hatcher is no stranger to the Super-verse, having previously played Lois Lane in the 90s drama Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Sorbo is a 90s star in his own right, having played the title role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

In addition, the episode is set to feature an appearance by Darren Criss, who will be playing the Music Meister in the Supergirl and Flash musical crossover ‘Duet’, which airs the night after ‘Star-Crossed’. Criss is seen in a few images throughout the gallery, which is sure to be a pleasant surprise for fans of the Glee alum.
