Superman Guest Stars in Exclusive DC Preview: Cave Carson Has A Cybernetic Eye #7

DC has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive preview of Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye #7 from Gerard Way, Jon Rivera, Michael Avon Oeming and Nick Filardi.

It’s a unique comic in that fans get to see the newly-redesigned Superman appearing in a Young Animal comic, an area where you wouldn’t necessarily expect to see the Man of Steel to begin with.

“In terms of Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye, we’ll usually discuss the story. Then we’ll zoom in, and then we’ll discuss the issue then put out a first draft. Then Gerard will do a pass. Then I’ll do a pass. Then we kind of go back and forth like that,” Rivera told ComicBook.com of the book’s creative process. “Luckily, since we’ve been friends and working together so long, we have trust in each other too. If Gerard makes a change, I’m totally cool with it.”

“Yeah, that’s the process. It’s very casual. We just kind of hang out together,” Way added.
