Final Fantasy XV

A new announcement has come today as part of the Final Fantasy Anniversary celebrations, one that has revealed that the upcoming June update to Final Fantasy XV will include a new, off-road version of the Regalia and the Episode Prompto DLC.

If you haven't been keeping up with the progression of Final Fantasy XV recently, Square Enix has been releasing additional content into the game in order to keep things fresh and interesting. There's plenty to explore in the game as is, but new events, gear, and missions are vital for keeping players invested in the story. According to the Games Talk announcement via Gematsu, the upcoming June update continues to do just that by allowing players to explore off-road and adding in new "Cup Noodle Style" gear.

Probably one of the most interesting parts of the update, the new content will include a raised-up version of the Regalia, this one being called the Regalia Type-D. Walking around and exploring can take a lot out of you, and sometimes, players just want to check out their surroundings from the comfort of something a bit more stylish than the back of a Chocobo. The new Regalia will give players the chance to take their travels off-road as they cross the wide plains and areas of Eos.

In addition to the new vehicle, the Episode Prompto DLC is also set to be released towards the end of June. This bonus content will be centered around the vibrant Prompto, a teammate and close friend of Noctis. If the new DLC is to be anything like the previous one called Episode Gladiolus, there will be new gear released for Prompto as well as the chance to take control of the character for a more in-depth look into his history.

Lastly, there will also be Cup Noodle gear added, because who doesn't want to cherish Cup Noodle in the form of a stylish hat.

More information on the upcoming updates and the Episode Prompto DLC is likely to come as the E3 conferences continue. Final Fantasy XV is currently available for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
