With new Star Guardian skins getting ready to hit the Rift along with a brand new game mode, the timing couldn’t be better for a release of Star Guardian merch. These figures are a bit smaller than the typical size of figures that are released through the official Series 1 and Series 2 lines of collectibles, but that just means that you can get more for your spending by buying the mini-figures as a whole set.
If you’re looking forward to adding a Star Guardian Ezreal or a Star Guardian Syndra to your merch collection, you might be slightly disappointed to see that those two aren’t included in the merch lineup. This set of Star Guardian figures features the OG team of Lux, Poppy, Jinx, Lulu, and Janna, so if you preferred the original Star squad more, these figures will definitely be more up your alley.
After they were initially spotted in China’s Riot Games Merch store, players from other regions quickly began wondering when they’d be able to get their hands on the figures as well, if at all. Riot Bradmore was quick to respond to the questions in a post on Reddit where it was clarified that other stores would indeed have access to the merch later on.
“We’ll be bringing these mini figs to our other stores in early Sept!” Riot Bradmore answered.
Listed only in the Chinese store at the moment, the set of mini-figures is currently priced at 220 yuan, a price tag that converts to $33. Readers asked more questions within the thread about what the price will be when the figures see a widespread release or if they’ll be a limited time release like the current Final Boss Veigar figure is, but no further answers were provided.
Regardless of if the price is raised or lowered for different regions, the Star Guardian merch will likely be pretty successful due to the popularity of the skins.
