Destiny 2 is finally here (at least if you're a console player), and players around the world are dusting off those old Guardian boots and and exploring everything the latest shooter from Bungie has to offer. Some players are even getting a little creative with their Guardians of choice, case and point: Yondu.

Reddit user GITGUDZILLA took to the forums to show off their latest creation and we've got to admit, not too bad. He even got the pose just right when the "... not your father, I'm your daddy" character from the Guardians of the Galaxy films. You can almost hear their Guardian declaring proudly, "I'm Mary Poppins, Y'all!"

A moment of silence for one of the best moments in Marvel film history.

The comment section became ridiculous quick, as in true Reddit fashion. Players having fun with their characters is nothing new but it does go to show much much character customization can mean to the community, and how much it can increase the level of social interaction. Plus, those shaders aren't cheap.

As many already pointed out, "He went from a guardian, to a Guardian, to a guardian," and we say more power to you, GitGud. Now all you need is a red coat for him and he'd be ready to conquer in no time.

Destiny 2 is currently out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release slate for October 24th. Did you hear about the ticket found offering more clues into the Leviathan raid? You can catch up on that right here, as well as Bungie's response to players being angry at the change in the shader system. Until then; stay brave, Guardians.
