WWE 2K18 Gets New Trailer, Adds The Hardy Boyz

WWE 2K18 is just a few weeks away from hitting the ring and taking wrestling fans to school, and today, 2K Sports continued to enthrall the community with not only a new trailer, but two new faces that are sure to make you feel…"wonderful!".

In the trailer, which can be seen above, rap artist Snoop Dogg runs down a number of the included wrestlers on the roster, giving us peeks at superstars like Shinsuke Nakamura, Bray Wyatt, Bayley, Sheamus, Braun Stroman, The Miz, Azuka, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, a few legends (Ric Flair!), AJ Styles, and so many more. Running through them all would pretty much be the entire roster, so check out the trailer above to see who all shows up!

Following the debut of the trailer, the developers explained that The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, would be serving as executive producer for the soundtrack, and also provided a few details on the new story mode:

"In WWE 2K18, we wanted MyCAREER to focus on a strong story narrative. We felt the addition of backstage could afford us some cool new ways to experience a day in the life of a WWE Superstar. For us to accomplish this, we needed to develop unique and compelling storylines that are no longer shared from Universe Mode so the journeys that MyPLAYERs go through are unique and fresh.

"This year, you'll have two very different paths you can take en route to your own WrestleMania moment (note: you will be able to play past that WrestleMania moment; your story won't end there)."

And, finally, two more faces will be joining the roster in form of downloadable content – The Hardy Boyz! Both Matt and Jeff Hardy will be available in a forthcoming DLC pack, along with the Deluxe Edition and Season Pass. Matt Hardy confirmed the news on Twitter, noting, "WONDERFUL NEWS! @JEFFHARDYBRAND & I are downloadable characters in #WWE2K18."

WWE 2K18 will release on October 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
