Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer Players Reporting Massive Server Issues

Call of Duty: WWII is finally here and long-time fans of the franchise are excited to see just how Sledgehammer Games took the series back to its "roots". Unfortunately, as is the case with some multiplayer games, the launch was not as smooth as they would have liked. In fact, many players were unable to connect to the game's servers for hours!

As of the time of this article, the latest CoD seems to have stabilised a bit and thus many are finally able to check out what the game has to offer. Activision themselves took to social media to assure fans that the issue is known and that they are actively working on repairs as well as preventative measures for a more fluid launch period.

The issue many were having was fairly straight forward - players simply couldn't connect to the servers with a perpetual "Connecting to Online Services" loading screen before the inevitable time-out error occurred. Though the situation seems more or less under control, there are a few straggler reports of server hiccups, but Activision is keeping fans up to date on the progress of getting everything back to where it should be.
