Last month, Warner Bros. confirmed that it would be bringing Injustice 2 to PC, with the launch of an open beta to follow right behind that announcement. Unfortunately, the beta had to be delayed, with the publisher having yet to give a new date on it. Here's the good news, fighting fans – it's here.

The publisher confirmed today that the game's open beta has officially begun starting today, and you can download it from Steam here. "For the first time, PC players will be able to experience the super-powered hit game featuring Justice League characters Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg, as well as other iconic DC characters such as Harley Quinn and Green Arrow," the company noted. (You can also play as these characters in Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, if you need a "full" game in the meantime.)

In addition, Warner Bros., alongside the developers at NetherRealm and QLOC, confirmed that the full game won't be too far behind, as it's set for release on November 14th. The team didn't confirm if the DLC characters that have already been made available for PS4 and Xbox One owners would be included, but they're likely to be available, especially with Hellboy not too far off from release for both Season Pass and regular players. And the game should be more than ready for the Fighter Pack 3 that's set to kick off next month, with The Atom leading the charge.

Injustice 2 has been performing very well on consoles since its release, addicting players with its fighting action and its diverse roster, both with characters already in the mix and new ones that are available through downloadable content, like Hellboy, Raiden and Starfire. That fun is likely to continue on PC, based on what we've heard with the beta so far. We'll give it a try and let you know what we think soon enough.

This should help Warner Bros.' PC push for the holidays, alongside Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.

Injustice 2 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will release next week for PC.
