The Xbox One X just released on Nov. 7, so Sony decided that it would be the perfect time to announce a new PlayStation 4 Pro bundle that takes a not-so-subtle jab at the Xbox One X.

Purchasing a new Xbox One X will set you back £449.99, a price that potential buyers have gone back and forth with in the past saying that it's either too much for an upgraded console or a steal for all the 4K quality and power that you're getting. But on the Xbox One X's big day, Sony now says that they have a PS4 Pro bundle to rival the 4K console with a couple of new games to go along with it, all for the same price as the Xbox One X.

A tweet from the PlayStation UK account early on Nov. 7 revealed the £449.99 bundle that comes with the PS4 Pro and a controller, Wipeout Omega Collection, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Gran Turismo Sport, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and The Frozen Wilds, the new expansion for Horizon. The Xbox One X cost the same price as the bundle, minus all of the games that are included, and while the Xbox One X isn't directly mentioned in the tweet, the winking face next to the price and the fact that the bundle is called "The Only on PlayStation PS4 Pro bundle" makes the reference quite clear.

As could be expected, the replied devolved into arguments about true 4K gaming and consoles with and without exclusives worth playing from commenters on both sides who are likely deep in the trenches of their console wars.

But while PlayStation did conveniently announce their new PS4 Pro bundle on the release day of Xbox's new console, they still took the time to congratulate Xbox on the occasion. Xbox has been putting out numerous tweets throughout the day as everyone sets up their new Xbox, and PlayStation offered their thoughts on the big release.
