Swain mains have known this rework was on the way, but the League of Legends studio has finally released the teaser video for what's to come! "Noxus has endured, because Noxus is strong. But the Grand-General Jericho Swain knows there are many kinds of strength—and the greatest leaders of the next age will be those who can wield them all," leads the teaser and we're feeling the power!

The Master Tactician is the next champion to see a rework done and it's not hard to get excited about it with a teaser trailer like that. Simple, but powerful. Some players are even joking that this Swain looks more like the champion than the champion himself. We weren't the only ones feeling the Swain vibes coming our way either. Some of the Twitter reactions to the League feed were absolutely golden:

And of course the demand to see some form of animated series came back up because these shorts are glorious:

"I have the vision to see what others cannot. The monsters of today will be the heroes of tomorrow. And by my hand will Noxus rise once more," says Swain dramatically before blackened wings fan out in a show of strength. If you weren't a Swain fan before, now would be a good time to get interested.

For those that might not know about Swain, he is the Grand General of Noxus with a vision tinted by strength and determination, "Though he was cast down and crippled in the Ionian wars, he seized control of the empire with ruthless determination. Now, Swain commands his warhosts from the front lines, marching against a coming darkness that only he can see. In a swirl of sacrifice and secrets, the greatest secret of all is that the true enemy lies within."

Many are looking forward to seeing his changes because his drain tank playstyle doesn't often match up to the role Riot Games has cast him as. Because of his champion mechanics, he's often in the middle of the fight versus leading them as his "Master Tactician" title implies. Luckily, Riot has been aware of this for quite some time and are rebuilding Swain from the ground up. That ground, if the teaser is anything to go by, is quite appealing.

In our previous coverage regarding what's in store for this champion, we mentioned what Riot Games had to say about their vision:

"Now that we're further into Swain's development, we're ready to talk more about the high-level direction we've chosen for him. After a lot of discussions, we felt the fantasy of a 'ruthless dictator' with powerful dark magic would lead to a more satisfying game experience for Swain compared to his current title as the Master Tactician. Becoming the leader of one of the most powerful nations implies great cunning and ambition, both of which we still think are critical to Swain's character. In the end though, it felt right for the raven general to be on the battlefield ripping the souls out of his enemies rather than sitting back in a tent commanding troops."
