It wasn't too long ago that 2K Sports introduced its latest wrestling endeavor, WWE 2K18, featuring a commercial with Seth Rollins tearing everything down, followed by WWE legend Kurt Angle swearing revenge for his actions. But now the company has jumped on its next announcement, revolving around the game's forthcoming special edition – or rather, it's Cena (Nuff) Edition.
If you can't guess by the title, it revolves around 16-time WWE champion and superstar John Cena, who recently made a return to the WWE Smackdown brand and did battle with Rusev in a flag match during the recent Battleground pay-per-view. Though his reception is often mixed in the WWE, there's no question his recognizable mug and "You can't see me!" attitude will become a major selling point for this new edition.
As you can see in the photo below, the WWE 2K18 Cena (Nuff) Edition comes with plenty of goodies. Along with a copy of the game, the package also includes lets you take on Batista and Rob Van Dam in special matches – and this is first indication that the ECW legend will be a part of the game, so you can play as the Whole F'n Show. There are also two versions of John Cena to play as, including his older edition. Players will also get the Kurt Angle pack with older and newer versions of the superstar.
The package also includes a commemorative plaque autographed by Cena, as well as a piece of the mat from his recent 16th title win at the Royal Rumble. You'll also get an exclusive Mattel John Cena action figure with a reversible t-shirt.
The trailer, which was posted on Twitter earlier today, also contains a peek at the Season Pass for the game, with additional superstars, move sets and more. WWE Super Card bonus content will also be included, in case you're playing the mobile game.

Again, even though Cena may not be everyone's favorite superstar, it is interesting to see him get the focus of this year's Collector's Edition, and fans will be all over it. Plus, again, it's great to see Rob Van Dam in action again. We can't wait to execute the Van Terminator again.
WWE 2K18 releases on October 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
