Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack Gets Physical Release on Nintendo Switch This Fall

If you were disappointed in Mighty No. 9 and have been craving a true return to the 16-bit glory days of platforming / shooters, then Azure Striker Gunvolt is the series for you. 3DS owners went nuts when the "Striker Pack" launched containing Azure Striker Gunvolt and its sequel on a single cartridge, and soon, Nintendo Switch owners are going to be able to add this electrifying bundle to their physical collection as well. Developer Inti Creates and publisher Nighthawk Interactive have teamed up to make sure Switch owners can get their hands on a handsome, illustrated box and that glorious old-school cartridge containing both games. The best part? There's no Switch tax on this sucker. The physical version will be available for the same price as the digital version, which launches on the eShop this Thursday for $40.

This is no lazy port, either. If you're playing these games on Nintendo Switch, you can rest assured that you're playing the definitive versions. Things will be running at a locked 60fps for the first time ever, we'll be making a huge leap from the 3DS's 240p screen to full HD, and all of the DLC will be yours from the get-go.
