‘Crash Bandicoot’ Gets A Vast Funko Pop Collection

Crash Bandicoot seems perfectly suited to the Pop vinyl aesthetic, which is why I’m surprised it took this long for Funko to get on board. Well, they’re making up for lost time with seven Pop figures – six of which are variants of Crash himself.

First off you have the standard Crash and a limited edition black-and-white chase figure that’s a 1-in-6 rarity. Then there are the store exclusives: Crash with a jetpack at Toys R Us, Flocked Crash at GameStop, Glow-in-the-dark Crash at Best Buy, and Crash in a biker outfit for Hot Topic. A Dr. Neo Cortex figure is also available to satisfy the villain requirement. The standard Crash Bandicoot figure (with possible chase variant option) and the Dr. Neo Cortex figure are both available to pre-order now. The exclusive variants should be available in their respective stores by November.

Crash Bandicoot is currently having a bit of a moment with the recent release of the N. Sane Trilogy, so Funko’s timing is actually pretty spot on. Hopefully Aku Aku and Coco will be added to the collection down the line. A variant of the pointy Crash from the original 1996 game would be awesome too.
