Destiny 2 has only just released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 but the Bungie sequel has already made quite a few markers in the community. After an amazing milestone for online players and the successful release of its first raid, the team behind the shooter have a lot to be proud of. As the first group to beat the Leviathan raid completed the event, the reaction at the Bungie office was so organically heartwarming; you just have to check it out for yourself:

The Leviathan raid is a tricky one, rife with puzzles and mechanics that really do require a solid team effort. As the Clan "The Legend Himself" worked together to become the World First to clear the raid, the developers behind the shooter couldn't help but to celebrate right alongside them.

Other players can join in on the boon, however, because to commemorate the accomplishment, Bungie has opened up an all new PvP map in the Crucible. The latest map, the Emperor's Respite, is now available for all players!

If you're looking to get in on the raid hype, the team themselves recommend a power level of at least 260, though many groups are asking for much higher. Great timing however, because Bungie has just implemented the first steps at getting Guilds together into full strike mode.

Destiny 2 is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, with a PC release slated for October 24th. Curious as to how the game stacks up on all platforms? Check out the tech comparison footage right here.
