If you've been looking for some fresh blood to arrive in Blizzard's Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, good news – the Necromancer is here!

The publisher has announced that the Rise of the Necromancer pack is available now for the game, across the board for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, going for the price of $14.99. You can check out the Necromancer in action in the video above.

"Comprised of controlled, calculating individuals, the Priests of Rathma have long known the true stakes at the heart of the Eternal Conflict. Known to uneducated outsiders as Necromancers, these masters of blood, bone, and the dark arts are often misunderstood. Driven to protect the Balance at all costs, those dedicated to walking this path see neither good nor evil in their actions; simply obedience to the cycle of being," the company noted in its press release.

The pack comes with the following items:

  • Non-combat pet
  • A pair of cosmetic wings
  • New Necromancer-themed Banner Shape, Sigil, and Accent
  • Necromancer Portrait Frame
  • Pennant
  • Two additional character slots

(In addition, two additional stash tabs are available in the PC version of the Necromancer pack.)

To prep for this content, a new patch has been made available for Diablo, and along with access to this pack (once purchased), players will also be able to check out a number of new features, including Challenge Rifts, The Shrouded Moors zone, Temple of the Firstborn zone, and the Realms of Fate, all of which are available for free with the Reaper of Souls expansion pack, which most of you probably have already.

The pack can be purchased for PC through the Blizzard Shop, and can also be purchased for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 through the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store, respectively. It should be available for purchase now in all areas, but Blizzard has noted that it may go live a little later depending on certain regions. It never hurts to check and make sure.

The Necromancer promises to be a fresh new addition for the game, so check it out if you're a fan!
