Diablo III: Season 11 Kicks Off With Wicked Class Set Rewards

It's time for a brand new season in Diablo III, and this second season (on console) has new challenges and new rewards for players new and old. "Now that the Priests of Rathma are active in Sanctuary," reads an update from Blizzard, "you can play through the Season Journey as the Necromancer and complete the free Class Set: the Bones of Rathma."

Necromancers aren't the only classes getting some sweet bonuses, though. Every class will receive a free class set, "Haedrig's Gift," for completing Season Journey chapters 2, 3, and 4. For you mighty Barbarians Blizzard is offering the Wrath of the Wastes set. Crusaders can earn Roland's Legacy. Demon Hunter's will be trying to score the Unhallowed Essence set. Monks can earn the Raiment of a Thousand Storms set (how cool is that name?). Witch Doctors can earn the Helltooth Harness set, and Wizards can earn Tal Rasha's Elements.

You can find all of those new class sets pictured above, and we think you'll find all of them are worth your best efforts in Season 11. But that's not all. Blizzard also detailed some new cosmetic rewards for Season 11 play.

"Players will also find some season-exclusive cosmetic rewards. Progress through the Season Journey to earn the new Emerald Dragon pet and celebrate the loot with a new series of portraits themed around Treasure Goblins. Plus, get the Pant and Boot slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set."

Take note veteran players: this season, Blizzard will begin wiping out old personal bests from past seasons. From the FAQ: "Starting with Season 11, we will remove old personal bests from Season 2. When Season 12 arrives, we will remove old personal bests from Season 3, and so on. In addition, there may be cases where multiple past Seasons of personal bests are removed at the same time. We will also be doing the same for Eras at some point, and we'll have more details to share once that happens."
