We can admit it, the art in Firewatch is stunning with its vibrancy. Apparently, we're not the only ones that think so because other businesses can't seem to help themselves when it comes to stealing that iconic tower image. It's gorgeous and all, but enough is enough.
The game itself is set in Wyoming and the scenery is nothing to scoff at. The narrative-driven adventure title lets players dive right in as the protagonist Henry as he spends his days at the fire lookout tower in the Shoshone National Forest. There's no doubt about it that the style in this game is graphically pleasing. So much so, you might even see it on billboards ... just, not for promoting Campo Santo's Firewatch.

One Twitter user took the time to call out one company called Salesforce, a marketing company set in San Francisco. The company's latest campaign was set into motion in order to promote their annual Dreamforce conference but it looks like the business might want to scale back their funds on fancy buildings and might want to a hire a few of their own graphic designers. Luckily, Twitter user Sean Vanaman, and co-founder for Campo Santo, was very quick to dole out this little piece of advice himself:

At first glance it's easy to see the similarities, but it's the GIF that's the final name in the coffin for the tracing allegations. Or as Vanaman put it: "straight up tracing our shit."prevnext
But wait, there's more:
Vanaman went on to further comment on the mess:
"Man, that crappy flag on top of our iconic lookout tower really drives us crazy. we're a ten-team company that put years of our life into that image." To which was immediately responded to with an additional image poached from the very same company alongside the caption, "and you point it out, yet still a few hours later they do it again."

So far, Salesforce has not made any comment about the accustations - but one look at their Twitter feed shows that they can't help but to be aware of it.
It's not the first time this has happened, other companies such as Gillette have also been hit with the copyright claim, as well as Ford for using the exact same tower image that Salesforce used. The lookout continues. What company will be "inspired" next? Will Salesforce respond with an apology?
