First 4 Figures has made some great video game-based statues in the past (like this awesome Sonic the Hedgehog light-up model), but it may have outdone itself this time when it comes to retro goodness, as it's made a new Crash Bandicoot model in time for the release of the new game Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy!

The company has announced that the special edition figurine, which features Crash in a provocative, panicked pose like something he does in the new game, will be available in August, and the item is up for pre-order now.

There are two different versions available, including a standard edition and a special limited edition. The main difference between the two is that the limited edition comes in a special premium deluxe box with an authenticity card that you can put on display. It'll sell for $89, and you can get a good, close look at the statue in the video above, complete with that all-too-familiar theme music from the Crash Bandicoot games.

In order to pre-order the item, you'll need to make sure you set aside a $45 non-refundable deposit here on this page. You should also be able to purchase the statue from a number of retailers, though a list wasn't available at the time of reveal.
