Friday the 13th The Game Jason Kills

Friday the 13th: The Game has a new set of kills coming for Part IV Jason along with some Halloween costumes that'll let players expand their Jason and Counselor customization for a pretty low price.

The DLC for Jason adds three new kills to the newest Jason's loadout, kills that look like they'll be pretty gruesome judging by their names. In the description of the kill pack that's seen through the Microsoft Store, the three new kills are called "Throat Slit," "Kneecapper," and "Slam and Gut." Previews for these kills weren't provided alongside the retail listing, but we can only imagine they won't be anything that a Counselor will want to be on the receiving end of.

Jason's kill pack is only around $2.99, so it's not that expensive compared to other things that you could opt for, but it might not be of much use if you aren't a fan of Part IV Jason. Since this is that Jason variation's kill pack, the kills that are unlocked in the DLC will be restricted to only that Jason, so don't expect to buy the pack and start capping some knees with any other Jason.

Friday the 13th The Game Halloween Pack

But if you're more concerned with looking stylish while Jason decapitates you, you can instead buy a Halloween-themed clothing pack for the Counselors. The Trick or Treat pack, seen above, includes a new Halloween costume for each of the Counselors. Some of them seem pretty fitting for the characters' stereotypes while others are simply some popular Halloween costumes, but you'll get them all at once instead of just being locked to one Counselor, so it definitely seems like more bang for your buck for only $1.99.

For now, the pack isn't available for Friday the 13th: The Game players worldwide. It's scheduled to be released on Oct. 26, so for parts of the world that are already on that date, it's now available. Others will have to wait a bit longer before it's able to be purchased, but according to one user's account on Reddit, it's appearing pretty promptly as soon as midnight hits, so players shouldn't have to wait too long before the DLCs are fully available.
