Frito-Lay Giving Away Nintendo Switches and Games Every Hour

As is so strangely-often the case, your best chance to score the latest and greatest video game hardware rests in your ability to totally pig out on some munchies. Don't worry, no one is going to force you to scarf down boxes of Taco Bell chalupas to win a PS4. This time there's a Nintendo Switch up for grabs, and you can win a Switch and Nintendo Switch games by... eating chips.

"Nintendo Switch sprung out of the gate as the fastest-selling Nintendo home system in history," said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "It's no secret that snacks and video games have always gone together, and this is a great chance for people to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch and a game."

Stop yelling at us, at least there's no Mountain Dew involved. But you will need to eat lots of Doritos... Shut up! Here's the deal, nerds. It's time to get hungry and stock up on Frito-Lay's Variety Packs. You know, those big plastic sacks full of little bags of Doritos, Cheetos, SunChips and all of that jazz. When you go to the store you'll want to look for specially-marked Variety Packs. You can't miss them; you'll see the big red Switch logo and the words "Switch and a Game Every Hour!"

That's because Frito-Lay is literally giving away a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch game every single hour until July 8. If you can put away a lot of chips, then those are pretty good odds, especially considering you have to take an extra step in order to enter. Inside of those packs you'll find special codes, and you'll need to go to the official contest website (found here) to enter those codes for your chance to win. One code is one entry, two codes gets you to entries, and three codes... You get it.

You guys are human beings, and you know how humans are. The majority of people who buy these packs, even if they're interested in winning a Switch, are never actually going to go online and enter these codes. By hopping online and entering yours, you're giving yourself a serious chance of winning. We're not sure if there are any hour restrictions (we didn't read the fine print), but I'm typically putting away Doritos around 2 in the morning anyway, so I'm hoping that late night code entry will give me an edge. No one steal my idea.
